My name is Shadan. I love music from my childhood. I used to listen to a Bangladeshi Band called Different Touch, that time my age was seven. I think that was the first band I listened. I hard that band in my grand mothers house. She was my mothers mom. One of my aunt used to listen to that band on a cassette tape. It is still one of my favorite band. She used to listened Bollywood song as well. One of her favorite Bollywood Cassette was Aashiqui. One time I borrowed from her for listening on my father's her car and I lost the tape. Another tape I used to listen was Maine Pyar Kya from 1989. I didn't have any of this tape that time. That time Hassan Jahangir song was very popular. He was a popular Pakistani singer in that time. I only knew the song, but I didn't know who was the artist. One of his popular song was called Hawa Hawa. My father bought me the English version of that song on a cassette. These all happened that time when I used to live in Dhaka, Kalabagan in 1989.
I started playing piano when I was 16, the year was 2000 during the summer from a Japanese girl name Tomomy. That was while I am being in U.S.A. from 1997 February 7th. She was teaching me piano during the summer until she go to college. Then her mother connect me to her friend who is a professional piano teacher Name Toko Duval. Who is a the founder the music school called Music Emporium in Charlottesville, Virginia, U.S.A. I spent many years learning piano with her. She taught me how to improvised, finger coordination, site reading and etc. It feels like I know her for centuries, she is also a founder of ping pong club. I go there sometimes too. The ping pong club is actually in a same building where I take Kung Fu lesson. So, I see her sometimes. Her husband name is Bill Duvall, who used to be band director in U.S. Navy. He can play many instruments. He wa spercialised in Jazz music. I took some guitar lesson from him long and, also took some Jazz piano lesson. Toko and Bill are very nice people, all the kids love the take music lessons from them.
At the of 35 I started playing saxophone that year was 2017. I got inspired by my Kung Fu Master Sifu Chriss Goodbar. Who is the Founder of the Laughing Dragon Kung Fu from Charlottesville, Virginia. He practice saxophone every Thursday in his Kung Fu studio also very good at Kung Fu. I used to watch him play the Tenor saxophone, and he loves to play that instrument. So, one day I decided to buy a saxophone, and my Kung Fu Master connect me with saxophone instructor name Charles Owens. Who is a famous saxophonist from New York, live in my city Charlottesville.
